How it works

The Elite iQ™ laser delivers targeted light energy that heats and disables hair follicles during their active growth phase, reducing their ability to regrow hair over time. The device features both Alexandrite (755nm) and Nd:YAG (1064nm) wavelengths, allowing full customization for different skin types and hair depths. With each session, treated hair becomes finer and grows back more slowly, leading to long-term reduction and smoother skin.

everything you need to know

  • What to expect during laser hair removal?

A laser hair removal appointment typically takes 10–45 minutes, depending on the treatment area. You may feel quick, warm “snaps” as the laser targets the hair follicles, but the integrated cryotherapy cooling system helps keep the treatment comfortable. Mild redness or sensitivity can occur afterward, but most patients return to normal activities right away.

  • What is the healing process like after laser hair removal?

    • Most The treated area may be slightly pink, warm, or sensitive for a few hours. Any redness or swelling around the follicles typically fades quickly.

When will I see results from laser hair removal?

    • Hair starts to shed within 1–2 weeks after each session. Hair regrowth becomes lighter and finer with each treatment. Full results develop over multiple sessions.

How long between laser hair removal treatments?

    • Timing depends on the natural growth cycle of the hair in each area:

      • Face: every 4–6 weeks

      • Underarms, bikini, arms: every 6–8 weeks

      • Legs, back, chest: every 8–10 weeks

How many treatments will I need?

    • Most patients need 6–8 sessions, though thicker or denser hair may require additional treatments. Touch-up sessions once or twice a year help maintain long-term reduction.

    • For deeper skin tones or sensitive skin, a test spot may be recommended prior to full treatment.

Always consult your primary care provider regarding medications, recent illness, and medical conditions before receiving any aesthetic treatment. Treatment is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

  • What to do after laser hair removal:

    • Mild redness or swelling around the follicles is normal and usually resolves within a few hours.

    • Wear loose, breathable clothing over treated areas to minimize friction and irritation after treatment.

    • Avoid hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, and strenuous exercise for 24 hours.

    • Avoid sun exposure and apply mineral SPF daily to protect the treated area.

    • Avoid retinol, acids, or exfoliants on the treated area for 5–7 days.

    • Do not scrub or exfoliate shedding hair; allow it to fall out naturally over 1–2 weeks.

Post-care instructions may vary depending on your individual treatment. If you have any questions or experience anything unexpected, please reach out to your provider.
